The problem
Restaurants running Odoo POS had no direct link to Foodpanda. Orders had to be manually re-entered from the Foodpanda tablet into Odoo, with no synced menu or product catalog, no live order status, and no unified audit trail across the two systems.
The solution
Built an Odoo module, a two-tier middleware integration (a global config layer plus a per-branch vendor config) connecting Foodpanda's API to Odoo POS. This involved working through Foodpanda's API authentication, chain/vendor ID setup, and webhook architecture for the Pakistan region, so orders, menu, categories, and product data sync automatically instead of manually.
